Colorful foliage makes visiting Rainbow Falls in autumn a must-do if you're anywhere near Watkins Glen State Park in the Finger Lakes. This area of central New York is known for it's beautiful waterfalls and gorges, many with the wonderful patterning in the sedimentary rock seen here.
