Fog and mist hang above Metlako Falls, a waterfall hidden in the lush green forest along the popular Eagle Creek trail in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. This popular hiking spot in Oregon is known for it's lush green canyons and numerous waterfalls. A large forest fire in 2017 closed this area for more than three years, and I look forward to returning to see how things have recovered.
