Artist's Description
Located in eastern Washington State, Palouse Falls was designated as the official state waterfall of Washington in 2014. The falls itself is nearly 200 feet tall, dropping into a 377 foot deep canyon that eventually feeds the Snake River. On April 21, 2009, Tyler Bradt ran the falls in a kayak, setting an unofficial world record for the highest waterfall run.
I was quite fortunate to be photographing here at sunset when a passing rain shower created a rainbow in the distance behind the waterfall.

My goal through photography is not only to produce art that brightens homes, but also to inspire people to conserve the places I visit.
