Colorful foliage makes visiting Rainbow Falls in autumn a must-do if you're anywhere near Watkins Glen State Park in the Finger Lakes. This area of central New York is known for it's beautiful waterfalls and gorges, often with the wonderful patterning in the sedimentary rock seen here. The combination of the weeping wall and stone bridge make this one of the most famous fall scenes in all of New York, even more so when the gorge is covered in dropped autumn leaves.
