The Milky Way galaxy rises above Mount Hood on a dark spring night in Oregon. Thanks to exceptionally calm conditions and a complete lack of wind, a perfect reflection of the mountain and stars is seen on Lost Lake in the Mount Hood National Forest. Lost Lake is one of the most popular camping areas in Pacific Northwest, and for good reason with it's picture perfect views of Mount Hood.
