"Elusive Color"
Some waterproof boots and a little wading were required to get to this meadow overlooking the iconic Vestrahorn mountains, on a small island in the middle of a small lake. During the short Arctic summer, carpets of purple lupine wildflowers bloom all over Iceland. But this spot on the south coast was the only place I found pink flowers.
