Brilliant red autumn foliage on a famous laceleaf maple tree in Portland's Japanese Garden. This garden in Oregon is widely considered to be the most authentic Japanese garden outside of Japan. This particular tree, sometimes nicknamed the Tree of Life, is one of the most photographed trees in the world.
