Artist's Description
The Astoria-Megler Bridge, opened in 1966, is the longest continuous truss bridge in North America at over 4 miles long. It crosses the Columbia River, connecting Astoria, Oregon to Point Ellice near Megler, Washington. On this particular morning, I utilized a long exposure to flatten out the water between the old pilings in the foreground in order to match the soft fog in the distance.
